Built from Ground Zero
Zone Zero is a software company in Dubai. We design and build custom software — web and mobile applications, APIs, AI systems and micro-frontend platforms.
We started where most projects go wrong
Every one of us has inherited the same project: the one that was scoped by someone who would never have to build it, estimated by someone who would never have to run it, and handed over the week before launch. It works in the demo. Six months later nobody can change it without breaking something.
Zone Zero exists because we wanted to work the other way round: scope a system like the people who will have to build it, and build it like the people who will have to live with it. And we would rather tell you an idea is wrong than bill you for building it.
What that looks like in practice
We work across eight disciplines — web and mobile applications, APIs and integrations, cloud architecture, testing, AI and machine learning, data platforms and IoT — because a real system rarely needs only one of them. An engagement can be a single integration or a platform built from an empty repository.
We’re based in Meydan, Dubai, and we work remotely. Here’s the full list of what we do.
The libraries we build
Alongside the custom work, we build our own libraries. They get documented, versioned and published under z0devs — our developer namespace on GitHub and npm. Same company, different hat: z0devs is what we publish as, Zone Zero is who maintains it.
The biggest of them so far is a Module Federation toolkit for React shells — nine packages and twenty-six pages of documentation, currently in private beta. And we build products of our own too: see what we’re shipping.
Who’s behind it
Zone Zero was founded by Shadi Shahin.
